Day 1: Scratching the Surface Workshop: Join fine art and commercial photographer Doug Landreth as he reveals many of his painterly Photoshop and Lightroom techniques in this intense one-day workshop. Advanced Photoshop topics include editing, composition, blending modes, selections and Doug’s favorite: texture layers. The STS workshop will provide you with many new tools and techniques to enhance your own distinctive photographic style.
Day 2: The Texture Lab: Bring your laptop and get some one-on-one time with Doug in a creative setting! You can be inspired for 6 solid hours with Doug, your laptop, and your images in the Lab. The format, topics and images will all determined by the group. This is your opportunity to finally get a clear understanding of specific Photoshop techniques that have been eluding you. Bring your latest photographic inspiration or maybe the image that you’ve given up on because it’s just not working.
Who should attend? All photographic artists who want to add new dimensions of depth and emotion to their artwork. Any Photoshop users who’d like to maximize their creativity, control and productivity.
What to bring to the Workshop? For the Workshop: You don’t need to bring anything unless you’d like to take your own class notes, but everyone will receive a copy of Doug’s notes. The Workshop attendees will not use laptops.
What to bring to the Texture Lab? For the Lab only: A working knowledge of Photoshop and a laptop with a current version of Photoshop installed.
